16A have been providing successful Architecture services to clients across the peninsula for many years. We can provide a full service, from the initial feasibility studies, detailed design, through to contract administration and overseeing construction.
With Studios based on the Wirral, Liverpool and London, 16A has a specialism in renovation work and have extensive experience delivering projects from generic suburban residential buildings in the greenbelt to listed buildings in Conservation areas. We also have experience designing new build developments that range from one-off new builds to large scale urban developments.

Design
As an RIBA chartered, wirral based practice We have a successful track record securing planning permission for ambitious designs on challenging sites across the UK. Our portfolio of built work encompasses residential, community and commercial that is designed and constructed both in the North West of England and South West of London
With a specialism in renovation work on we have extensive experience delivering projects from generic suburban residential buildings in the greenbelt to listed buildings in Conservation areas. We also have experience designing new build developments that range from one-off new builds to large scale urban developments. We have expertise in conjunction with Paragraph 80 of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). In addition to architectural design services outlined in the 16 A Client Journey, we offer site finding and site evaluation services drawing upon our detailed knowledge of planning policy.
Construction
Depending on the project, specialist construction and fabrication services can be provided through our contracting arm. At 16A we are interested in pioneering, renovation techniques that include condition assessments, Impact analysis, Structural Renovation, Floor plan reconfiguring and the analysis of financial budgeting for the First and Second fix phasing methods that drive our design and construction packs at RIBA Stage 4/5.

Joel’s creativity and ability to deliver a project to the highest standards sets him apart from the rest, and his experience working on a number of RIBA award winning projects has enabled him to start up Studio16 Architecture. Joel takes a practical lead in the design process and ensures the clients are happy, maintaining Studio 16's reputation of producing a first class customer service. As studio director, Joel coordinates the team to deliver and execute projects to a first class standard.

James' expertise in large scale redevelopment and coupled with his commitment to operations management, enables him to ensure that work is produced in an efficient and timely manner. James takes a technical lead in the design process and ensuring the design information produced is to the required standard, co-ordinating with other design team members and delivering work within agreed programme dates.

Office Manager
Billie has Managed and procured a vast variety of projects including retail and hospitality, residential and community driven projects. At Studio 16 Architecture, she has experience in working with and communicating with clients, and working within tight time frames to ensure work is delivered on time. In order to develop her designs, Billie uses a range of techniques including mood boards and collages, model making, sketches and 3D visualisations. Billie also advises, helps and walks clients through the procurement process.
