LAIRDS FC

Studio16 Architecture were approached by cammell lairds FC to undergo the redesign and tendering process for their new training facility in Birkenhead, England.

 

James and Joel were involved obtaining planning permission and producing a tender package for procurement purposes. The Prohect will be at the heart of the community and has been given funding due to its effect on the local footballing economy.

 

The Club was established in 19067 as cammell Laird institute Assossication Football Club and is a pillar in the surrounding community. Its end users range from as young as 8. The new facility will not only house football related events but also anything from christenings to funerals. The floor plan is specifically designed in a way to highlight the football clubs identity . Processes whilst also remaining flexible to maximise multi purpose use.

 

The project is due to finish construction in the next couple of weeks.
